Selected luminaires can be equipped and configured as emergency lighting units operating in either maintained or non-maintained emergency modes, with an autonomy of 1 or 3 hours. Emergency modules can also be integrated into lighting systems with DALI2 bidirectional communication.
In such cases, the system enables functions such as fault reporting, automatic battery testing, and other diagnostics that provide a clear overview of the device status and allow for easy maintenance planning.
The emergency module is usually integrated into the luminaire and does not affect its appearance. In specific cases, depending on project requirements, it can be installed in the luminaire’s ceiling rose or in the ceiling void.
LED luminaires can be equipped with 2 W / 4 W emergency power modules with built-in batteries. On request, luminaires can also be prepared for connection to group or central battery systems of respective manufacturers.
The emergency module is marked with the letter “P” in the luminaire code.
