Daria Podboj

born 1979 / Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina

• Daria Podboj is a Czech designer with origins in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Architecture and Design studio, led by acad. arch. Jiří Pelcl. She deepened her architecture and design knowledge during the internship at the Ecole des Arts Graphiques et Architecture Interieure in Paris. She also participated in the Summer Vitra Workshop here.

• Currently, Daria Podboj dedicates not only to the design of lighting units, furniture and interiors, but she is also devoted to architecture and graphic design. The designs of Daria Podboj are very popular among Czech as well as foreign companies.

• Daria Podboj presented her innovative and inspirational works at exhibitions at home as well as abroad, from which the following should be mentioned: Moebel Café in Vienna, Talents Messe Frankfurt, or Designblok in Prague.
